Introduction
My Name is Cerri, I love dogs and believe that training is about learning and educating yourself, Training dogs and how we train dogs is changing every day and it's important to stay up to date and keep learning new modern-day techniques of positive reinforcement training.
I competed in agility with my Weimaraner Muddle (hence the name) and a Corgi- Chance at novice level with West Lakes Agility Club and Lune Valley Agility Club in Lancashire from 2001 -2007 Cambridge Show was the last show I did with Muddle as she retired from Agility in 2007.
My love of dog training started when I was 6 or 7 years old and it never grew old I still enjoy it now, even with the most challenging dogs and it is a passion.
I love watching the slow changes the dogs and handlers take when somethings start to fall into place and you see the look of achievement on their faces it just amazing!
I like to make training a bit of fun for dog and handler and love using the dog talk buttons to communicate with your dog this can be amazing to watch and I love it every time no matter how many times I've seen it.
“A well-trained dog is a pleasure and an untrained dog can be a disaster waiting to happen.“An untrained dog can be a liability and can make a real difference in how an owner is able to live his or her day-to-day life, but a well-trained dog can add pleasure and companionship to the art of service.
I always encourage positive reinforcement training and clicker training with minimal correction work adjusted to suit the dog, if you are interested in 1-2-1 training at competitive rates then don't hesitate to contact me.

Puppy Basics-Behavioral Training
Building a relationship with your dog is the first step in getting your training started. Starting with a basic blueprint of the things your dog needs to learn.
Dog training does not happen overnight it is all about consistency and repetition followed by lots of practice.
Make your training sessions enjoyable and fun not just for you but for your dog.
This is achieved by keeping your sessions short then try having some fun like playing a game then back to training, try to break it down to give your dog's mind a rest.
Take the time to learn how to communicate with your dog and learn about his body language and what he is trying to tell you.
Go one step at a time, "Don't try to run before you walk" Training is about little steps at a time and then putting them little steps together to make one giant step.
Remain calm and positive, and never give up we all have bad day's.
Remember always end your session on a positive.
